Completed in 2023 this house was designed and constructed around the client’s way of life. Utilising vernacular forms and materials in keeping with it’s rural location in Hampshire, UK.

The three bedroom house and garage on a one acre plot designed by Max Davidson with BCM architecture incorporates a double height entrance and glazed oak front gable with mezzanine landing. This allows a feeling of space in a relatively compact home.

Passive design measures along with sustainable technology in the form of solar PV’s and battery storage ensure that design leverages local climate, sun orientation, and natural materials to maximize energy efficiency.
